I finally started packing my stuff. I won’t be moving until next saturday but I’m such a lightheaded idiot I’ll probably forget half my stuff. Luckily, I’ll still be able to come back and get anything I forget, since I’m the sole soul that’s leaving.

Obviously, and since I seem to choose this as a default reaction to stressful situations, I got sick… Since yesterday; watery nose, terrible headaches, coldness and general tiredeness, fever, aching throat and a subtle cough. I always breathe through my nose when I sleep, so I don’t usually snore, but when sick I breathe through my mouth and everything get’s painfuly dry… But last Night it was funny, it did not happen that way; I breathed through my mouth and drooled all over me! Every time I was mildly concious I reached out to my face to find it soaking wet!

But I digressed (pardon readers, if there are any, it’s the fever talking)… I’m done with part one of, I suspect, three. I’ll keep this updated if I can, just because I want to share this lovely and traumatic experience!

I’m not terrified, but I’m preoccupied.

I am not even in USA, but I am very concerned about this. I’m not gonna lie, democracy isn’t the best system we could use, but it’s the one we’ve got so far and we should at least try to get it to work in the best possible way. When presented with two candidates such as these, well even if they both have flaws, the choice to me is really easy. Obama is not near perfect, but there’s no discussion that he’s the only choice if you’re a decent person who cares for others and want things to at the very least stay stable instead of going back or down. Also, I believe in politics there’s only one way to make a project come true; and that’s with the aid of time. We’re too used to see a government destroying what the previous built in order to start from scratch. That will never work. So maybe if you give it a second chance, given the other option is bullshit, then maybe you’ll be surprised.

Make me proud, USA. Change the common idea that you’re blind to politics. I speak about what we see from afar. You’re an amazing collective when you act from your heart. Don’t let ancient beliefs guide you. Don’t be blind to corruption and politic games and lies… Those are there always, but you can make a choice to ensure your future, to either build or destroy.

I hope I get to congratulate you tomorrow.

Okay, I figured I would make this post and save myself from future apologies.

I’m Mel’s mun, you may call me Ede. I am from Argentina, hence I speak Spanish as native tongue. I learnt English on my own, no formal studies but through movies, books and chats through Internet. So I wanted to let you know I will commit spelling and grammar mistakes. If you are to RPing with me, bear that in mind and be gentle. I am used to write in Spanish but haven’t done so in a long time. And this is my first time writing directly in English. Name: Melissa Teller (in case you’re still wondering; YES, I am Liam’s little sister).

Nicknames: Lis, Lisa, Mel, Meli (only my favourite Professor, Dr. Björn Jäger calls me that) and Narwhale (only my brother Liam calls me that).

Age: I just recently turned 22 years old.

Professional Background: I’m a Psychology Major. I plan on diverting into Freudian’s Psychoanalysis. The divan kind of one. I know it’s an odd choice, but Björn talked me into that longer before I knew about any other schools. Cognitive Psychology is overrated anyway.

Familiar Background: It’s always been the three of us; dad, Liam and me. My mom died when I was 4 years old and I can barely remember her. Dad tried to raise us as best he could, but Liam will always be what I picture in my mind when someone says ‘family’.

Like: books, indian food, photography (I’m an amateur photographer when I’m not preparing an exam), indie movies, sleeping in the sun, sunrises on the beach, karaoke nights, travelling, talking to strangers.
